Do you write resumes for people in all areas of retail?
I work with multi-unit managers (area managers, district managers, regional managers) as well as store managers, assistant store managers, and department managers. Unfortunately I don't work with corporate managers or people from other areas of retail (buying, marketing, HR, finance, supply chain, etc.) as that's not my area of expertise.
Do you write resumes for people in all types of retail?
Yes. Over the last 10+ years, I have worked with hundreds of leaders from every major retail company in North America including specialty stores, big box stores, small box stores, department stores, factory outlets, off-price stores, grocery stores, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, coffee chains, and warehouse clubs.
Do you write resumes for people all over the world?
No, I only take on clients from the United States and Canada because other countries often have different resume customs and expectations (and different retailers) that I'm not completely familiar with. I don't take on clients if I don't feel that I'm their best option.
Do you also write LinkedIn profiles?
Yes and no. I don't write something separately for LinkedIn, however your new resume provides content that you may wish to copy over to your LinkedIn profile, keeping in mind confidentiality and other factors. I provide all my clients with a LinkedIn profile guide to help them with this.
What is your process?
Upon receipt of payment, I prepare and send you a very detailed and comprehensive questionnaire to fill out. Once it is completed and returned, I then create your resume.
What will I get?
You will receive the finished resume in Microsoft Word and PDF formats. I also give all my clients a cover letter guide and a LinkedIn profile guide.
